Brilliant!!

Brilliant second book and my daughter and I can’t wait for the next book in the series. Love the narration and all of the instantly recognisable characters she expertly voices for.

Can’t wait for the next one

Well done. Captivating the whole way. Just like the Harry Potter series this is just as appealing to adults. Hope a movie comes soon. Great accolades to the author.

Loved this book

I really enjoyed the first book in this series and equally enjoyed this latest novel. It may be a children’s book however I found listening to it quite exciting and couldn’t wait to hear what happened next. It’s great having a strong female character as the main story line. I really liked the narration as well.
Now I have to wait for book 3 :((

Fabulous: Engaging and magical read

I initially started listening to this series as it is written by a local author. However it soon became much more than that. The magical world that has been created provides such an interesting backdrop to a tale of friendship, loyalty, intrigue and, of course, magic. I wholeheartedly recommend this for children and adults alike. Excellent read. Looking forward to the next instalment already!

Book 2 better than the first

We still have not formed any attachment to any of the characters so it will never be a great book. The second in the series is differently better than the first, but do not think we would bother with anymore. Neither of my kids were interested in listening to a 3rd instalment.
