Publisher's Summary

In the final, apocalyptic chapter of this epic trilogy, the dragon-mage Krasus and the young druid Malfurion must risk everything to save Azeroth from utter destruction. Banding together the dwarves, tauren and furbolg races, the heroes hope to spark an alliance to stand against the might of the Burning Legion. For if the Demon Soul should fall into the Legion's hands, all hope for the world will be lost. This then, is the hour...where past and future collide!

Loved this

Only gripe I had with this book series was how much Illidan gets called"Malfurion's brother" was fine at first when the characters were introduced but felt it kind of made it seem like the only important thing about him was Malfurion even though he's a great characters in the overall lore. Other than that small thing this book series was absolutely amazing!

Not fully canon - but fully Awesome.

My personal favourite of the 3 Books.

I know that some of the canon is a little messed up. But the Characters and their story still feels true.

I recommend you go to the book called Illidan after this. I have read it before but after this, I need to revisit it.

Also Ramon de Ocampo is so good at this.

Do a shot every time he says "macabre"

Nvm, don't. My friend died trying.

On a serious note, I don't think Richard has much respect for Illidan as demonstrated by his written petty behavior and constant address as "Malfurion's brother/twin." I know another review pointed it out, but it stands. Aside from his depiction of the Druid's grace-befallen other half of twins, the story was satisfactorily detailed while remaining concise. It's easy to follow as long as you don't get distracted during context-heavy moments.

Ramon did his job wonderfully in narration, and I look forward to hearing him again along my path through the franchise collection. The inflections, tones, and varying gruffness between characters do a fantastic service for the listener in keeping track of who's speaking. Thanks for reading, and enjoy the story!

Great end to a great trilogy

I really enjoyed this trilogy, and even though some of the details are different than the lore presented in the game it was still a well put together story.

Non-stop adventure and feels!

Brilliantly written and performed. You’re left with the real sense of companionship and adventure the book intends and it’s a credit to the Warcraft universe.

All 3 of the books are great, but this one is the best !
So glad they got them read into audiobooks, and Ramón does a great job aswell.
