Added to my favourites. Full of adventures and juxtaposition of two worlds. The writer has a special talent to draw you in so that you want to keep reading. This novel was quite funny and I enjoyed chuckling along with the protagonist as she navigated her life. Miss Lily was enchanting. Listen to it.

What an excellent story. At first she drove me crazy measuring everything against the characters in her books. She was opinionated, stroppy, a big mouth and admittedly funny. Once I got over my dislike she had me laughing out loud as her sass and outrageous comments and thoughts. She grew up and what a lovely young lady she became! I love love love the ending. Awesome.
Fantastic narration too ❤️
