Publisher's Summary

Welcome to Petrasada. The City of Light. The City of Clouds. The City of Joy. It is the last bastion of human life floating miles above an endless desert world.

And a string of serial murders are threatening to tear the city apart.

Anelia Orba is the newest rookie in the magical winged police force of Petrasada. She is inexperienced, naive, paired with a resentful partner, and fully expected to fail. But when a strange clue takes Anelia off the procedural path, she'll have to overcome the odds before the City of Light falls to darkness, and she loses everything she cares about.

what an interesting good read!

I really enjoyed listening to this audio book. It was action from the beginning to end. Every time I had to stop listening I couldn't wait to start again.
I loved that they're females and kind of like cops and with their blue Alulas , it turns into feathers and wings to fly! so cool.
I really liked the main character Anelia and her friends and nest sisters. The narrator sounded just like Anelia and it was well read. The story was well written. So full of action !
I also liked the world of Petrasada, it's different and magical.
When it ended I was actually disappointed because I want more of this story.
I will definitely be reading the next book of wings of justice!
If you love and enjoy action and some magic then this is the book for you.
Totally worth it..

Another great audible for the library

Definitely loved this book and look forward to hearing the next. Certainly excited to see how some of the unexplored clues and the caverns are developed.

A fantasy cop story with a unique concept.

This is my first cop novel that takes place in a fantasy world. I really like the concept and how it keeps on going with the mystery and suspense. This is one of Michael's rarest stories that focus on a female character. It sucks that he probably won't continue this series at all. If only it sold better. I want to learn more about the world and what is going on. But overall, it is a fantastic book.

Police investigators with Wings

The story itself was well thought out and written. Several murders occur in the City and the newest winged cadet is tasked with tracking down the culprit. I did enjoy the story and the whole concept of a flying police force. Flying as in they have wings. As Anelia goes through the process of learning her duties and dealing with her partner, the drama is interesting. I enjoyed listening to the story. good story, okay audio

there were editing issues with the narration, the white noise in the background clearly changes with edits, the speaker is either louder or softer during edits as well.
