About this listen

Wedding vows have never been this personal....

Willow has been living with marriage-shy Charlie for more years than she cares to remember and is old-fashioned enough to want a wedding band and a loads-of-sex honeymoon before stretchmarks and nipple shields. So when the once-wary Charlie surprisingly goes down on one knee, Willow doesn’t question why her boyfriend is suddenly so keen to rush her into saying 'I do'. The first clue comes as Willow is zipped into her Cinderella dress, the second as she bobs into the wedding car and the third as the Roller swings towards its fairy-tale destination...leaving a shell-shocked Willow desperately trying to figure out what to do next.

loved it. Enjoyed the storyline, and the ending is great. I'm surprised that I enjoyed this as much as I did.

I enjoyed this novel, the characters were mostly believable and nicely formed. The ending was satisfying. The distracting part for me was the constant use of cringey metaphors. Apart from that was the unlikely dialogue of some scenes, I don’t think 30yr old men in London talk like that. But still a good story

Good story, weird metaphors

Every character in this book is hideous! And the 'sultry', 'sexy' voice of Kev is horrible to listen to. These characters just disgust me, however they are an accurate portrayal of the morally-lacking.

Everyone is revolting!

I’m so enjoying this author! Her characters are so true to life…. There really are horrid people out there and also beautiful ones. The narrator did an amazing job…. Her Aussie accent was right on and as an Aussie I would know. So many twists and turns and loved how we got to hear the guys side even though he was a rat! Thoroughly enjoyable story!

The ‘big reveal’ was obvious early on and I didn’t really like the main character. It was very easy to listen to as it didn’t require concentration.

Easy listening

Easy, lighthearted story to listen to with a happily ever after ending but the narration was a bit grating at times for some characters, especially’Kev’

The story was fun, I especially liked the very end. There were some corny, really cringey jokes in there though.
Not many people can do an Australian accent but the narrator did a very impressive one.

The narrator was great
