About this listen
When the prize is love, sometimes you get stung. But if you’re lucky, you just might hit the sweet spot....
Juliana Burton needs a medal at Speakeasy’s beer festival to push her brand-new brewery into the spotlight. She thinks she knows how to do it, too - with a beer made exclusively from Vermont hops, barley, and the best honey in the state. Too bad the only thing standing in her way is a six feet tall, smokin’ sexy, and her secret high school crush.
After a very public disaster in Boston, Riggs Lyon is home with his teenage son in tow. Riggs is taking over the family beekeeping business with an eye to offload it and start life over somewhere where “Lyin’ Lyon” isn’t a joke. Selling honey to Juliana doesn’t make business sense. She can’t afford the high prices Lyon honey fetches in specialty shops and farmers markets. But somehow, he’s having trouble saying no to anything she asks for, whether it’s in the hive or in the bedroom.

The only thing that I can say is that there was not a lot of deaths in thoughts characters. The heroes hea.th problem came out of left field and we also were left guessing about Jordan and biz. I was a bit confused not sure if he was the guy she had approached on the bus or it was someone else because the ending told us something different to what I thought. I also didn't seem to find closure with Caleb and Riggs as there was some past Bad Blood there and I felt it wasn't resolved. I also enjoyed the side characters but all in all just felt that the story skim the surface and the thoughts that were life-changing especially for the hero didn't come in to play
Andii and Stephen did a really great job with their narration as always.
Won't stop me from trying another one though with a completely different theme as I did enjoy the pace of the story.
Great research to a good story
