Enjoyed it

I thought it was really good. Makes you want to sell all your stuff and go hiking. The part where he says that when s guy is about to die they aren’t going to say that they wish they would have worked more or bought more stuff.

Suprising

Wasn’t so sure about the book when I downloaded it but decided to give it a try. I ended up really enjoying the book. As a lover of the outdoors, it was fun to read someone else’s take on god’s country. His tales were told with humor and a deep sense of respect for what Mother Nature has to offer. If you’ve ever entertained the idea of heading off into wilderness, read this first and be inspired!

Very disappointed in the reader.

The reader sounded like a robot. Terrible dynamics, pacing, intonation. I could not listen past the first chapter. The choppy, formal tone did not fit the content of Scott Stillman's wilderness experience. I tried to return the audiobook but was not allowed to. Very disappointed.
