Publisher's Summary

Admitting mistakes isn't easy, and for hardheaded Margaret O'Brien, it's virtually unheard of. When Margaret comes back to Ireland for her daughter's wedding, she is forced to face her past. She just didn't expect to be doing it thrown upside down over a devastatingly handsome and exceptionally angry Irishman's shoulder.

Yet Sean Burke can still make her toes curl with lust.

Twenty-eight years, two countries, and years of hurt stand between Sean and Margaret's chance at love.

Prequel/Continuation

Margaret and Sean fell in love fast and things moved quickly. When Sean sees the cove glow, he runs. When Margaret finds out shes pregnant, she runs.
It will be 28 years before they see each other again.
Neither of them ever truly mived on, despite both trying to live their lives.
They are willing to give their live a chance, but will history repeat itself.

This, more than in other books, shows how pride can get in the way of love. Old hurts keep trying to raise their head and almost get in the way of the two being together.

love how this series was written

They seem like short stories. lifetimes go by in a flash. But they are well written, the charicters easy to love and well rooted around one area and a main figurehead.

Margaret & Sean

Denying her gift and refusing to be a freak leads to heartache and loneliness as Margaret flees Ireland pregnant and alone to make it in Boston, but now that her daughter has gone to Ireland and found herself as well as her happiness Margaret is forced to return. Facing old demons, facing old heartbreaks and trying not to let them crumble the gilded shroud she has ensconced herself in as she attempts to keep from breaking completely. The cove isn't having it and Margaret is in for the ride of her life and taking us along with her! A nice backstory to fill in a bit of Margaret and her daughter's backstory and hinting at a bit of Fiona's backstory. I do hope the author lets more of that out in the future. I can't wait to listen to the next story in the series!
