Narration so annoying had to force myself to listen. For example word like ‘sounds’ was said as ‘zounds’ And ‘gar’ for ‘car’ and so on. It was like she was reading an Enid Blyton book for children. Cant believe Mick Herron has used her for other books. His Spook Street series has a brilliant narrator. Don’t get it. Soooo grating!

Good tale ruined by narration

You will be enjoying the story and performance when all of a sudden the narrator will stop and repeat the sentence. Unfortunately the editor has not picked up the errors.
