Publisher's Summary

Who are the Jehovah's Witnesses? Many of us have seen or been visited by folks calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses. Most of us have slammed the door in the faces of these hard working young men and women as they try to share their gospel with us. I, however, use to delight in conversation with such folks as these, not to be argumentative but to try and understand their doctrine. Of course, when you speak to the Jehovah's Witnesses, you always get the same watered down doctrine that they publicize such as, "Jesus Christ didn't agree with the view that there are many religions, many roads, all leading to salvation. Rather, he said: 'Narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.' (Matthew 7:14) Jehovah's Witnesses believe that they've found that road. Otherwise, they'd look for another religion." literally believe theirs is the only religion, and as we venture through the history to see how they became what they are today, you can decide for yourself is being a Jehovah's Witness is the only path to salvation.
