Our favorite white trash zombie, Angel Crawford, has enough problems of her own, what with dealing with her alcoholic, deadbeat dad, issues with her not-quite boyfriend, the zombie mafia, industrial espionage, and evil corporations. Oh, and it’s raining, and won’t let up.

But things get even crazier when a zombie movie starts filming in town, and Angel begins to suspect that it’s not just the plot of the movie that's rotten. Soon she's fighting her way through mud, blood, bullets, and intrigue, even as zombies, both real and fake, prowl the streets.

Another hilarious exciting instalment of Angel's zombie adventures. Not only does Angel have to deal with the real zombies lurking on the set of a zombie movie being filmed in her town, there's a natural disaster, her on-off again relationship with Markus to contend with, her weird reaction to her zombie child & trying to keep her secret from her dad.

I wish there was more background on the movie being shot & how Saberton came to be a part of it. I felt this plot point needed to be more fleshed out to make more sense to the overall story. But Angel is her usual charming self & Alison McLemore did another great job bring her life. Sadly book 4 & 5 not available on audible or kindle at time of this review & now waiting for paperback copies as need to know what happens next !!!
