About this listen
Readers can “feel heat radiating off the pages” (Publishers Weekly) of New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Lori Foster’s steamy romances. Her work has even earned her a Romantic Times Career Achievement Award. The first in her compelling Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor series, When You Dare is sure to satisfy Foster’s loyal fans—and win her new ones.

Oh, for the love of learn-how-to-communicate. One of my biggest pet peeves is two characters circling each other, 'thinking' they know what the other is thinking or feeling. Speak up, people.
And the assumption that Molly wants Dare to f*ck her to 'recover' from her trauma is tired.
There was a weird dynamic between Dare and Chris, despite Chris being gay. They simultaneously feel like brothers and amicable exes.
There was both too much going on and nothing going on. I just wanted them to bang, and I wanted the mystery to be solved. About two thirds through the audio I wanted to skip to the ending to solve the mystery.
I spent a long time thinking Molly set this up herself as promo/content for her next book. Then I thought it was her management team. Then I alternated between her father, stepmother, and sister. So the revelation didn't shock me as much as my own ideas.
Missed potential.
