The story was really well written. The subject was well researched and realistic. A very realistic and grounded storyline. Great book.

Overall the story held interest and I found this to be a very interesting take on this genre. The ending was disappointing in that it did not wrap up some loose ends that were pivotal to the story, it was way too quick and could have done with an epilogue. The narration was good but would have been better with dual narration.

While this did drag in places, and I would have preferred dual narration, I enjoyed this.
It could have gone into the wolves being real mythology a little more though. And I would have liked a faster burn.

I loved the creativity of how the usual trope panned out in this novel. There wasn’t a lot of dependence on the lore but that made it more engaging. I’ll definitely be reading the next one in this series and I hope the author writes more for the secondary characters at some point. I’d prefer a more detailed development of love between the two characters, otherwise perfect.

Surprisingly well written (polysyllabic words and proper grammar!!) for a shifter romance. A sweet story that was relaxing cos no miscommunication/misunderstanding/tstl/ tropes. Even the whole alpha aggression stuff fit in an appropriate context of the military. I was afraid it'd feel too long but it didn't drag. HEA is always good. Would have been better with dual narrators, the one guy handled the alternating POV chapters well, but it was a bit awkward really.
