Publisher's Summary

Warning: This novel contains excessive humor, action, excitement, adventure, magic, romance, and bodies. Proceed with caution.

Fetching a cat out of a tree should’ve been a quick, easy 50 bucks in Kanika’s pocket. Instead, following one stray thought, the devil pays her a visit and leaves her with a debt to repay.

Owing the devil a favor is bad enough, but her life is turned upside down when it’s time to pay the piper. First, she doesn’t want the world’s sexiest firefighting, kitten-rescuing Scot as an unwilling companion. Since that wasn’t bad enough, she doesn’t know who wants him dead or why, but there’s no way in hell she’s going to let someone mar his perfection.

Add in the fact the devil wants an heir, and there’s only one thing she knows for certain: she’s in for one hell of a job.

Great entertaining story

Loved the story. However if you are looking for a book with sex this is not it. I like some down and dirty in my books so if that’s what you are looking for this isn’t the book for you. That being said I did buy both books on audible by this author. The stories are quite entertaining.

Insanity in Full Bloom

I have to say this was one ride into insanity . What a ride it was! Body count was off the charts with a very surprising clean up crew. I love I had a ti.e laughing at the antics of our three major players within the story. Courtney Holly did not disappoint narrating the story. She has an array of voices that help make things funnier within the story. I enjoy listening to her reading.

entertaining, witty and delightful. Loved it

I have not read the written book, but after listening to the engaging performance by the narrator i will forever read future books in this series her voices. it was funny, engaging, sarcastic and witty. Definitely a romantic comedy that will make you want to listen straight through to the end and stay awake till you do. Delightful. Will definitely now search out more by both the author and narrator who were new to me.

Ok..

So, I thought it was ok, story line was interesting enough. Unfortunately for ME this book wouldn't be something I would buy again if I had the choice. The beginning of the narration and parts after were read like one big run on sentence, and without any emotion. For how "smarmy, and sassy " this character is supposed to be you'd think the narrator would play into that with her reading but nope, couldn't tell most of the time if she was serious or any other emotion. Which brings me to this character... Now, I like a good fiesty independent woman as much as anyone but when "feisty, smart ass, rude" is the ONLY impression given, that gets annoying. Did she fear for her life at any point? Couldn't tell.. Did she appreciate ANYthing done for her or given to her? Couldn't tell.. Did she like or love ANYONE, especially the love interest? Couldn't tell. Did she create any bonds through the book with anyone that was obviously attached to HER? Couldn't tell.. and so on.. Know why? The only emotion I was given was YOU GUESSED IT, sarcasm and witty lines! Did she talk to anyone without that attitude? Nope.. AND if your going to make someone STRONGER and more FIERCE than her but let that person get walked all over and not act, well that makes me look at those stronger more scary characters as chumps. So, did I think Satan was the scariest person in this story? Nope.. The Angel's as beings to be terrified of? Nope.. exc.. And finally but not least because this is already way longer than I intended, the world/story/other beings.. It was harder to keep things straight and remember people, places, things, and names than it should be. it felt like when one thing was written, it was subject to change later depending on how much more "special" the author felt it should be. Like her abilities for example. Beginning; shifts into maybe 3 different shapes, later 5 or 6.. Beginning; has one mission with little to no experience or money, later has many many different offers for jobs that suddenly only she can do and is getting money "thrown" at her. etc... I could go on but I won't. So, while I won't say this is terrible, I won't go out of my way to read more books by this Author.
