Publisher's Summary
When Alice Love surfaces from a beautiful dream to find she's been injured in a gym, she knows that something is very wrong – she hates exercise. Alice's first concern is her baby – she's pregnant with her first child, and she's desperate to see her husband, Nick, whom she knows will be worried about her. But Alice isn't pregnant. And Nick isn't worried. Alice is the mother of three children and her hostile husband is in the process of divorcing her. Alice has lost ten years of her life.
In the days that follow, small bubbles of the past rise to the surface, and Alice is forced to confront uncomfortable truths. It turns out forgetting might be the most memorable thing that's ever happened to her.

Wonderful Story
This was a really enjoyable book. A fascinating premise of a woman who loses 10 years of memory and is shocked by the woman she has become. The story unfolds as she adapts to the world created by her 'new' self and those around her adapting to her 'old' self, all while snippets of her memories return. This will make you laugh and cry and think about what decisions have made us the people we are now. Caroline Lee is a wonderful narrator and this book was a joy.

WOW!
I absolutely loved this book, in fact I have enjoyed every Liane Moriarty novel I've read. Caroline Lee reads with a refreshing Australian accent. Addictive , hard to put down.

Beautifully crafted
Such an easy, addictive listen. Rich characters, evocative detail, the author has nailed the difficult to achieve balance of being unpredictable yet satisfying. Apart from the strange pronunciation of "sushi", the narrator has a wonderfully authentic Australian accent and her children's voices are great, which is difficult to achieve

People with misophonia AVOID
A nice entertaining story but the narrator does not know the professional etiquette of keeping a hydrated mouth.
Lee’s mouth tends to get dry and her voice often becomes accompanied with a terrible sticky/chewy sound which would have been avoided by keeping a glass of water nearby when recording. I’ve listened to ‘the husband’s secret’ which did not have the same problem.
However, in this recording the spitty sound gets so loud at one point I yelled out in pain as I pressed play just to be met with the swilling of saliva. Avoid wasting your money on this if you can’t stand the sound of spit.

I loved the characters
Took me a while to really get into this story, but then I looked forward to listening each day. This story is a great example of how we can get caught up in the hurry of life, and we shouldnt wait for something drastic to happen before we stop to appreciate everything we have.

BAD Narator.
I loved the story but the narator was not a match she should be reading childrens books she ruined the story with her little winey squeaky voice.

Very Endearing
The story is quite cute, I loved the device of narration through a number of characters. The woman who reads this captures each voice perfectly and her tone is incredibly sweet. A delight to listen to
