👍🏻Definitely Worth Your Time👍🏼

This was fun! I was very glad to discover this bonus episode, though it contains absolutely no spoilers as advertised, just mainly insights from the journalists on what it was like researching this story and interviewing the subjects. This is a fitting end to the West Cork saga, though of course once the trial begins, I imagine the saga will continue. Two thumbs up!

N.B. Any listener who enjoyed West Cork will also love the six-part true crime🔪🔫🗡💉🔬 podcast called Bear Brook. Listen for free, either online or on the (free) NPR One app.

No story updates, but some additional info

Loved podcast. This post-chat was mostly about the production side. Still definitely worth hearing after story ended, since this was one you didn't really want to end,,,,

Nothing Answered

This was just a bunch of non-answers and hum-hoing. No new info was shared, nothing had happened yet in the case. A complete waste of a half hour

Strangely compelling and addictive.

This was a total departure for me as far as the format, but there was something about this docudrama/biography that was incredibly compelling. This is a fascinating story that has to be listened to in one sitting. The subject is quite addictive and stays with you. I found myself googling this story long after I'd finished listening..I want to know!!
Brilliantly recorded and produced, I'll be looking out for more from these guys.

Good follow-up

I listened to the original "West Cork" and thought the complex story was presented thoroughly, thoughtfully, and with great suspense (helped along by the haunting soundscapes). I was disappointed that there was no resolution, but thought the treatment was fair and unbiased. This is a good follow up, with details and thoughts from the authors who discuss some background of the production and admit their own frustrations with the ambiguous ending. Worthwhile.
