Maintaining a style that is both retro and contemporary, the radio drama will give horror fans the campy, kitschy style they like, but it also provides a variety of characters and development to keep general audiences engaged…Despite not being able to see the action, the excitement and intensity is still sustained through score and sound design. In some ways, the lack of visuals to accompany the audio creates more suspense. The narrator controls how much the audience knows, slowly teasing out information. this series is amazing. action packed, good story and a plot that continues through with a good, different pay-off from most other zombie stories. characters and acting is great. I listen to books and music all day at work, and the sound in this is fantastic, especially over my car stereo. I would highly recommend listening on a good stereo. the only down side is that on rare occasions I couldn't hear some of the dialogue, like when they are talking over a radio, but this was very rare and didn't really affect my experience. all in all, this is a fantastic series, with a fantastic story.

Look man... I read and listen to alot of trashy zombie books and this is NOT one of them. The story is gripping and unusual. The characters feel real and imperfect lacking the cleshay hero complex so many from this genre gift their protagonists.
The voice acting is supurb and feels very movie like including the sound effects that add a chilling and explosive atmosphere.

it was good, i struggled at first. i was told to listen to this after listening to impact winter. Im not big on stories about zombies but it was pretty good. I don't know if I'd continue on with the series but if i had nothing else capturing me I'd go back to listening to the others

glad i kept to it

Felt like a slightly dated action movie. Some cool themes that just dropped away.
Quick paced story but just not much depth. It was like a low-budget, more poorly written version of Impact Winter which I loved.
The full cast + sound effect style is cool. It was rare that I had trouble distinguishing characters. I really liked certain characters but they would just randomly drop out without follow through.
If you want an engaging story that won't stretch you it's decent.
