Gutes Buch, schlechte Hörbuchaufnahme

Die Story ist gut, auch wenn sie nur sehr langsam Fahrt aufnimmt. Spannender Plot mit verschiedensten Charakteren.
Das Worldbuilding ist manchmal etwas verwirrend und man muss häufiger hinnehmen, dass man etwas erst später oder nie vollständig erklärt bekommt (auch nach dem zweiten Buch sind noch viele Fragen offen). Aber definitiv eine Empfehlung!

Die 688 Kapitel á 2min sind allerdings eine wirkliche Zumutung und reflektieren die Struktur des Buches nicht. Mitten in Sätzen fängt teilweise ein neues "Kapitel" an. Zudem spricht die Sprecherin extrem langsam. Die Musik zwischendrin hat nicht zur Atmosphäre beigetragen. Somit hat die Aufnahme und Bearbeitung unnötige Steine in den Weg geräumt. Vielleicht kann man die Kapitelangaben ja noch ändern.
