Publisher's Summary

Popular author Jenny Han continues the gripping and emotional story she began in The Summer I Turned Pretty (starred review from Publishers Weekly) and continued in It’s Not Summer Without You.

Belly has only loved two boys, Conrad Fisher and his brother, Jeremiah. Now that she and Jeremiah are on the verge of a permanent commitment, Belly confronts her lingering feelings for Conrad and faces a painful reality. She must figure out which brother is her soulmate—which means someone’s heart will get broken.

Great YA book

The third in the summer series was great--what I expect to close out the trilogy. I gave the story 4 stars for a few reasons: (not really SPOILERS ahead, but just in case, consider yourself warned. )

-Jeremiah seemed to have taken on a new personality--what happened to the sweet kid from the previous installment?

-We are supposed to accept that Belli and Conrad had a much deeper relationship that previous told in the earlier book, so the arc that their relationship takes in this one is a little jarring.

-The story ends a little abruptly. I would like to have known a few more details in the intervening years.

All in all, a great experience, though. I enjoyed the series and would recommend it to any YA....or adult!

Summer Trilogy

What did you like best about We'll Always Have Summer? What did you like least?

This story was the 2nd book in the trilogy. I didn't like how this story took forever to finish.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Jessica Almasy?

I loved the narrator. She has a way of making you feel like you are there in the story.

Such a sweet romance!

I don’t think I could have been the narrator for this book. Such emotion in this story I would have been crying the whole time!! Jessica did an amazing job!

Ending

I don’t think she ended up with the right person, the ending was disappointing for me.

characters...

These characters all did a 180 in this book. It just doesn't give the same feels as book 1 and 2. I'm happy it ended here before she could completely ruin the series...

Love the ending...

I felt like she needed Jer during the time she needed and Con did what was right when though it hurt her. I love that she ended up with who she did. He was right for her in the end. 👍

Very good story

I really thought she was going to end up with the other guy. I'm still as little shocked. But another great story that I listened to all through out one day!

A touching tale

this book, and the entire trilogy for that matter has a really special sense to it, you really believe the characters relationships and conversations and stories and the bonds they have are so relatable to real life experiences. The writing is eloquent and flows beautifully, it feels as though you could loose yourself in belly's world and i felt entirely immersed in her problems and her pain almost began to pain me. My only complaint would the very slight repetitive nature of the story, it started to feel like the same things were being said a few too many times and it could've moved a bit faster however overall its a beautiful, heart breaking story which touched me deeply. Thank you Jenny Han for a wonderful experience
