Publisher's Summary

For Paige Kelly, life hasn’t turned out the way she planned. At 22, she thought she would be graduating from college and starting a career. But the loss of her parents changed everything.

Now, she spends her time working as a waitress and taking care of her five younger siblings. Despite the urging of those close to her, she doesn’t find time for a life of her own.

When Russell Pierce returns to his childhood hometown, he’s eager to focus on success in his new career as a country club manager. Meeting Paige wasn’t part of his plan, but now, he can’t stop thinking about her. He wants to get to know her and help her, but she resists all his efforts. He tries to forget her, but she’s far from forgettable.

When a project at the club forces them to work together, the line between colleagues and friends will start to blur. Russell has to consider taking a chance to pursue her, and Paige will have to decide if she’s ready to give life a second chance.

There layers of meaning to the title “Walk with Me”

Paige is old beyond her years as she had to grow up quickly when her parents were killed in a car accident and she became guardian to 5 younger siblings. She felt lost and angry at the life and dreams she had wanted for herself that were ripped away to her new reality. She was determined to control her life and her family so that there wouldn’t be anymore loss. Along came Russell the new COO at the golf club she worked at. He noticed her and her skills and quickly promoted her along with wanting to date her. She had a hard time believing that her current life could ever be better than what she had to give up. She had a faith crisis with trusting God, and she couldn’t trust herself or Russell until she could trust God. There were a lot of Christian overtones in the book and they were handled well. It was a believable plot and well developed. I was sympathetic to Paige and cheering for Russell, his family were amazing and the secondary characters were all good.

Sweet Story

This sweet story was very nice to listen to. The narrator had a charming southern accent. The story was clean and definitely one that adults and even young teens could confidently enjoy listening to. Things wrapped up at the very end fairly quickly, in my opinion, but still very enjoyable.

I received a complimentary copy of this audio book. All opinions are my own.

Amazing

Walk with Me is a sweet and clean faith-filled story. The storyline is charming and kept me engaged throughout. The characters are interesting and tragically realistic in the problems they face. The narrator has a pleasant voice and gives a nice performance.
I received a complimentary copy and have chosen to give my honest opinion.

it was a spectacular story and plot line than had me fanning away my tears at various intervals throughout the book. It has made me reflect o issues than I had buried deeper than I realized. God is good and His mercy endures for ever
