Concise, Well-Lived and Well-Explained Tips!

It seems unfair to rate this book for "story," as it is a list of 50 tips, but Gregory did a nice job of narrating his experiences along "the way." I have listened to many podcasts on the Camino, read many Facebook posts and forums, and attended American Pilgrim talks and this book sums them all up nicely!

Unnecessary insertion of Gayness in a useful guide

Why is the author compelled to insert his sexuality in a book of tips? If it was a Gay guide to the Camino, fine, he is what he is, BUT this is about equipment. technique, planning, strategy etc. His husband this, and his husband that, adds *absolutely nothing* to the publication. If I had read in the credits after all the good advice that the author was gay, I would have thought "Cool, this guy is really brave" Instead they try to *force* straight people to accept that homosexuality is absolutely mainstream by inserting it in material where it's totally irrelevant. I'm honestly not anti-gay, but it did ruin the book for me.
