Love the story, pity about narration
I've read this book countless times so listening to an audio adaptation seemed like it would be a thrill. I actually cringed listening to Vince's portrayal. I'm not even sure if I can ever re-read the novel without that horrible gravely voice in my mind.

Heartwarming well written romance
I love Lisa Jewell's books so started this one with high expectations. I was not disappointed whilst it was not a psychological thriller it was beautifully written and I really became invested in Vince and Joy and their story. I would recommend this book as a great holiday read perfect for a long flight or the beach. I also enjoyed the narration and actually found a male narrator that I warmed to. Would recommend this book to anyone wanting a good old-fashioned love story.

Great story but was hoping for a better ending
Really great love story of love loss and separation through the ages. Written well and performed brilliantly with two separate actors which helps to cement which character you're listening to. The only thing that I was disappointed by was the ending. I was really hoping for some kind of epilogue or more finishing off after all the build up. Still enjoyed it though and would listen again.
