Publisher's Summary

It’s the week before Easter in 1971, and at the local power plant in rural Lapland, the workers are heading out for the morning shift. But something’s different - a safe has been robbed, and no one knows how. In Vietas, award-winning crime author Jenny Rogneby explores the case of the missing money, why it was so badly handled and why, to this day, it remains unsolved.

This three-part true crime series is different: it features waterfalls and reindeers, but no murders. It a tale of a crime executed in a spectacularly specific way, but also of a small Swedish town in the middle of nowhere, where everybody and nobody is a suspect.

twas a worthy listen

it was a bit short; being only a few hours or so but its better that than too be listening to filler to lengthen the series with no added details of any interest to listeners

interesting story of theft and glorification

I enjoyed the mystery, shame there was no resolve, I always love a good resolution to a mystery.

its a good story and a great heist, but lack of intensity and action made this story a little boring. but its still a good story and a great performance
