"جارة الوادي" رواية أندلسية ترصد أيّام إشبيلية الأخيرة، حيث تدور أحداثها في الفترة بين عامي (1236: 1245 ) وتتناول بالتفصيل حياة الإشبيليين تحت الحصار ودفاعهم المجيد عن بلادهم ، وخيانة ملوك المسلمين لهم، كما تجيب على الكثير من الأسئلة؛ كيف حدث السقوط المروع ؟ ومن ساهم فيه ؟

كيف صمدت المدينة في شهور حصارها ؟ لماذا استسلمت بالنهاية ؟وماذا حل بالجارة وأهلها بعد السقوط ؟
