Der Autor:
Martin Suter wurde 1948 in Zürich geboren und ist Schriftsteller, Kolumnist und Drehbuchautor. Bis 1991 verdiente er sein Geld als Werbetexter und Creative Director, bis er sich ausschließlich fürs Schreiben entschied. 1997 erschien sein erster Roman "Small World". Es folgten "Die dunkle Seite des Mondes", "Ein perfekter Freund", "Lila, Lila" und "Der Teufel von Mailand". Sämtliche Romane waren auch international große Erfolge. Seine Kolumne "Business Class" für die Schweizer "Weltwoche" und das "Magazin" der Tamedia und die Geschichten um Geri Weibel für das "NZZ-Folio", ebenfalls im Diogenes Verlag veröffentlicht, erfreuen sich großer Beliebtheit. Martin Suter lebt mit seiner Familie in Spanien und Guatemala.
