Their love for each other has no bounds. A war is called and a devil finally. taken care of.
This club and its president are the best.

trope developed but n9tbmy type

I so enjoyed the Louisiana chapter, especially the narrators. so I thought I'd backtrack to the kings.
I enjoyed the suspense and storyline of previous books , but "defy" and Jake's story isn't for me. there are way too many babies appearing in this series for my taste.
I really enjoy these authors and it's not their craft that I'm not keen on, it's just the MC trope disappears and baby trope appears smothering the
whole story making the suspense a subplot.
and the narrator's. Thor Thom I've listened in other genres and he's ok, but as Jake, he just doesn't gel. His Russian accent sounds like a bad Count Dracula and his female tone is cringe worthy. He gasps each time he inhales and, in my opinion, he doesn't actually intone what the author's have expressed.
Jillian Macie is good but as Grace, her voice sounds too young.
a narrator can make or break an audible book. unfortunately this one, for me, broke.
