El talp Felip els explica que els jocs olímpics ja se celebraven a l'època dels antics grecs, i amb el rellotge màgic decideixen anar a visitar la primera celebració dels jocs, al 396 aC a la ciutat d'Olímpia. Un cop allà, els tres amics coneixeran en Corebus, l'auriga de la princesa Cinisca, i la Perla, la seva euga. La Perla està malalta i no pot competir, però el Felip l'ajudarà a recuperar-se.
