About this listen
My name is Melody Cameron. Or so I’ve been told.
When I wake up in the hospital with no memories, I’m shipped off to Denver to live with a distant cousin who knows nothing about me. If family can’t help me remember my past, who will?
I don’t expect it to be a gorgeous hockey player 10 years younger than me. He knows things about me he has no right to know.
Yet, he still keeps secrets. He makes me work for every answer while he unlocks my desire—and fear.
Still. I’m blind. Naive. And when his twisted obsession becomes apparent, it’s too late. For both of us.
I wasn't really an overall fan of Jacob, and Melody didn't seem to stand up for herself against him. Obviously, this series is dark, and previous characters have been so morally grey, but it felt like there were no consequences for Jacob. With everything that happened to Melody and Jacob's feelings for her, I expected Jacob to evolve. I've enjoyed the previous books, but this one just wasn't for me. I originally stopped reading after events kept happening while Melody was sleeping, but eventually decided to give it another go.
I read on Kindle and read along on Audible.
Didn't capture me like other books in the series
