Für die "Großen" der Kita Holterdiepolter heißt es bald: Tschüss, Kindergarten! Bis dahin gibt es noch so viel zu erleben, wie den Ausflug zur Polizeiwache, bei dem Elif und Linus sich in ein echtes Polizeiauto setzen dürfen. Oder die Übernachtungsparty in der Kita, bei der die Kinder im Dunkeln Verstecken spielen. Und dann ist er da, der Tag der Einschulung, und das Kribbeln im Bauch nimmt zu. Mit Schultüte und Ranzen geht es zur Feier und in die erste Schulstunde. Ob die anderen auch so aufgeregt sind? Am zweiten Schultag steht Hugo vor der Frage, wo eigentlich das Klo ist. Und was man in der Nachmittagsbetreuung macht. Eins ist sicher: Langweilig wird es in der Schule bestimmt nicht!
