Publisher's Summary

The breathtaking companion novella to Twisted Truth from Wall Street Journal bestselling author Kendra Elliot.

A torrential two-day storm has cut off the small town of Solitude, Oregon, from the outside world. But for police officers Stevie Duncan and her husband, Zane, the ravages of nature have nothing on the nature of man. In the last 48 hours, a child was a mute witness to a double homicide; an unidentified body has washed up on the riverbanks; and now, at the foot of a submerged bridge, two FBI agents have been found shot to death inside their SUV. What's worse, the young charge they were enlisted to protect has gone missing.

With the only exit out of town washed away, Stevie and Zane know that the murderer is trapped. But whatever's going on in Solitude is far from over - because as sure as the receding water, the killer is going to resurface.

Taylor family story in Solitude Oregon continues

Including the 4 novella Rogue River series and now the second novella in the Rogue Justice series this joint effort by Oregon writers Kendra Elliot and Malinda Leigh continues. It is a different kind of collaboration with Elliot and Leigh each writing alternating novellas rather than coauthoring them. The topic is always the Taylor family of law enforcement officials in Oregon's Rogue Valley. I have enjoyed all six of these quick moving and fast listens suspense mysteries. Kate Rudd narrates all and she is consistently outstanding.

Too short. Should be half the price for the length

it was a good sequel to the first but just like the first, it was too short. especially for the price.

Wish I had waited to buy

Wish I had waited till after reading book 1 to buy, instead of getting them at the same time. If I had wouldn't have wasted my money and time on book 2. At least book was a little better than book 1. The idea behind them are good just feel like so much detail was left out to keep it a short story.

Love this series!

The sequel to Twisted Truth, this story continues with Stevie and her husband Zane. The town is surrounded by water, and there is a killer on the loose. Just when they thought Liam was safe and in the arms of a loved one, things took a dramatic turn. No one can leave the small town of Solitude with the storms, so with the hunt on, and ghosts from Zane and Stevie's past haunting them, they do their best to find Liam. Solving the mystery that surrounds Liam's disappearance and the murder of 2 FBI agents we will find out the surprise ending. I love both Kendra Elliot and Melinda Leigh, and the two have flawlessly put together this series of Rogue River stories, alternating the writing of the books. It's easy to get lost for the short time it takes to listen to them, and the stories are so well told, you just keep wanting more. The best part is there is no cliffhangers, so you can listen and go to the next book without that feeling of in-completion. They write some of the best romantic suspense I have listened to, and now will be listening to Rogue Winter! With Kate Rudd narrating these stories, it's a winner every time.
