It was great to listen to Smoke and Molly's story. The way the drama unfolded was interesting. While there is mention of the work the team does, it takes a bit of getting used to not as much team action as in other series. Susan did a great job of the car scene; the emotion bled through the words.

AUDIBLE REVIEW I have not read/listened to the two previous books in this series. I struggle to continue listening to this when we start of with a young girl being sexually abused by her captors, whilst the rescuers sit and talk amongst themselves whilst awaiting instructions/permission to proceed. I used to love this authors books but nowadays they just depress or annoy me and sad to say they usually end up as DID NOT FINISH in my reading list.

I really struggled with this one. I have listened to almost all of Susan's books, but this one was hard to finish. not sure if it was the story line, Molly or the narrator.
