One of Scott's first novels, this reminded me why I love her so much.
I love Edie and her mom.
Edie's recovery from being held at gunpoint feels authentic, and while she probably would have benefited from more intensive therapy, she was a fun character.
John if one of Scott's male characters whose point of view I would have loved to read/hear.
He is exactly the kind of not I would have frothed over in high school

I love Kylie Scott’s Dive series and was interested to see how she would execute a YA story. I liked TRUST but I didn’t love it. It fell a bit short on the romance side but I liked how John was protective over Edie. I also didn’t feel the sparks between John and Edie either, and I think it would have been good to have chapters from his POV so that I could understand how the robbery had also affected him, and also see how his feelings had evolved for Edie.
