  • The Woman Tasked With Fixing Australia's Most Controversial Police Force
    Jun 17 2026

We don't often have politicians on True Crime Conversations. But when a domestic violence incident is reported to police every three minutes, the people making the laws and setting policy have a critical role to play.

NSW Police and Counter-Terrorism Minister Yasmin Catley joins Gemma Bath for a rare conversation about the state's response to domestic and family violence. From the results of Operation Emme Rock, which saw almost 1,000 high-risk offenders arrested in just four days, to the introduction of coercive control laws, Catley explains what's being done to prevent violence and protect victim-survivors.

The discussion also explores the warning signs that are too often missed, the challenges police face, and whether the justice system is doing enough to stop abuse before it escalates.

  • The Three Mums Who Teamed Up To Solve Their Children’s Crimes
    Jun 10 2026

When three adult children vanish or turn up murdered back-to-back in Bakersfield, California, their heartbroken mothers refuse to wait for answers.

Banding together to form a fierce, unstoppable sisterhood, they launch their own rogue investigation, uncovering a dark underworld of ghost guns, addiction, and fraud. But just as their amateur detective work forces a breakthrough, a devastating plot twist blindsides the community: one of the missing victims is suddenly charged with her own friend's brutal murder.

Journalist Olivia LaVoice joins the podcast to unpack the emotional, chaotic, and utterly baffling reality of the Bakersfield Three.

  • Inside The Hidden Network Of Men Drugging And Raping Their Wives
    Jun 3 2026

In 2024, the world learned the name Gisele Pelicot. Between 2011 and 2020, she was drugged and raped in her home in France by her husband, Dominique, and dozens of other men while she was unconscious.

In a landmark trial, the then-72-year-old Gisele waived her right to anonymity as evidence revealed at least 200 rapes, many of them filmed. Dominique recruited men through a sex chat website, giving detailed instructions on how to abuse his wife.

But this is not an isolated case. In 2026, CNN uncovered allegations of a global network of men in group chats sharing tips on drugging and raping their wives, alongside more than 20,000 “sleep content” videos.

Investigative journalist Saskya Vandoorne joins us after infiltrating these groups and speaking to survivors.

I really liked how they would really go into the story not just the oh this happened who did it the end they would go into the backstory of the victim why the ‘culprit’ did it

Great! Best podcast I ever listened to

Definitely not the best true crime podcast, but it's still pretty good. Doesn't go into depth as much as other podcasts, but interviewing people close to the cases is what makes it stand out.

Good Podcast
