the story was pretty good but the narration made it nearly unbearable. At times, it was a whiny, childlike voice that didn't suit characters at all.

Wow what a touching story. I loved how the three sisters had a special bond and were always there there for each other. At times it was tough but life is often tough so it was very realistic. I loved the end. Sandra Burr is a truly gifted narrator and I love listening to her.

I love Kristin Hannah, I’m enjoying the story itself but the narration is PAINFUL…nerve grating painful. Grown women with whiny, toddler like voices makes it incongruous with who they are in the book. I’m expecting tantrums at every turn. It’s like the baby voice people use to baby talk to cute animals. I can’t handle it!

I was so disappointed with this book. The narration was terrible and made the plot seem even more trite. I'm very sorry I bought this book.

Hmmm I didn’t like the voices women sounded weak are like airheads , horsewomen don’t sound like that .
Owning a horse training and riding centre myself the boy would have friends everywhere it’s a magnet for young folk and my first thought in the evidence was check dna . I just felt everything was weak .
