Great for a beginner

If you’re a seasoned triathlete, a lot of what is mentioned in this book is old news. If you don’t race in the US, some of the race details aren’t correct. The story at the beginning was great though of how Meredith got into triathlon.

Most Informative & Inspirational!

This book is a great story about how someone snapped out of the mundane and entered a new world of physical, psychological and emotional challenges. Meredith is intelligent, brave and all inspiring! After years of knee injuries, multiple bouts of never reached fitness goals, I can finally say that thanks to her, I am confident that I too, can compete in triathalon. All this while juggling a demanding career, children and a husband! I really have no excuses...There is greatly detailed technical info about training, nutrition, gear and competition day, that it won't disappoint!

Loved it!

As I'm preparing for my first triathlon, this book was perfect. In addition to helpful "how to" info, the book is filled with priceless mindset advice. It's a great combination of expertise, vulnerability, authenticity, and humor. It's a winner!

What a fun engaging book

I absolutely loved this book , it is funny and authentic to the smallest detail , I loved Meredith's journey and her attitude towards finding balance and keeping going through sometimes rather tough lessons . Also found it helpful to get ready for my first Tri as it's packed with practical information and advice on how to go from couch to tri. She shares her passion for the sport and her journey with such delightful lightness ... I will be listening to this again soon.

Great tips

It really covers everything. Perfect for a beginner.
I will be re-listening to some chapters as I go through my training and closer to race. The PDF is very helpful too. Lots of tips and templates.
