Publisher's Summary

My name's Rin, and I've been reborn as a cultivator with a broken core. Time to save the world.

Thankfully, the spirit who reincarnated me modified my core with a rune of power. Now, each time I ascend to a higher level, I can add a new rune, enhancing my strength. But this gift was given with a condition; if I don’t climb and conquer the Towers of Acalia, this new world will fall into ruin.

Plenty of obstacles stand in my way: raging spirit beasts, tower summoned monsters, rival cultivators. But by bonding myself to gorgeous women warriors, I can ascend and grow strong enough to take on the seven towers. Gods help anyone who stands in my way.

This novel includes elements of lite LitRPG, Isekai, cultivation, and a slow-burn harem.

MC feels like he should be on a list

MC feels like he should be on a list, and that's saying something with me having read all of William d Arand's books, he somehow makes Steve look well adjusted.

The world also feels cobbled together with dreams and duct tape, the world is growing stagnant for some reason, on a unrelated note the only people who can cultivate are crafters who have to sit in one area and craft using stuff they buy and sell as well as spend years learning their craft, no relationship at all to why people aren't traveling miles and clearing towers, more so with them being level dependant per area. You might also ask why is the tower any travel time from a town let alone a large one, seeing as it's a self made must first step, or why the first tower somehow spits up extremely valuable things even for the closest town in the least of the towers? How does cultivation even survive seeing as it is presented as a master and single apprentice thing, which then they run headlong into death? Where's all the angry lonely guys that have to deal with the fact a harem is literally a way of life here, drastically skewing the male to female ratio?

I don't mind some holes in a plot, but when the world is the hole, it gets a bit annoying, makes it all pointless and heavily deus ex machina.

Love this series

This book/series is fantastic. Absolutely loved the written version and Daniel and Rebecca did not let it down. If you’re on the fence about this book, do yourself a favor and give it a chance. You’ll love it. AK doesn’t disappoint.

Wanted to like it

Hard a hard time getting into this one. I enjoy atlas Kane’s work but this one seemed forced. I could have pushed through that but the narrator completely killed it. His narrator voice is always overly melodramatic regardless of situation and reminds me of desperate game show hosts and lounge singers.

Another Great

Don't wonder, think, or ponder whether to get this book. JUST DO IT! It is worth it, I just got done listening to a isekai novel were the mc is whiny and scared all the time, and running from everything while refusing to adapt to any of it. This guy grabs his situation by the nads and salutes on the plunge.

Excellent story! With amazing narrators!

This was a great story. The character development was on point. The story flowed well.
Both of the narrators really made the story come to life with all of the different character voices. They’re some of the best.
I can’t wait for the next book!
If you’re considering the book do yourself a favor and pick it up. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent

Atlas Kane has done it again, terrific story and characters as ever, and the narrators have helped to bring them and there word into existence. Roll on the next book.

Overly simplistic hormone driven fantasy.

This whole story comes across like some hormones driven teenage web fantasy. The writing is overly simplistic though the storyline has some good points it’s writing comes across like an hormonal teenager who is desperate for a date wrote it.
