About this listen

An explosive love triangle, a formidable matriarch and a house party of enemies. All drawn inexorably … Towards Zero.

Now Anjelica Huston and a star-studded cast feature in a brand new BBC adaptation of Agatha Christie's tense, ingenious novel. Listen to it before you see it!

What is the connection between a failed suicide attempt, a wrongful accusation of theft against a schoolgirl, and the romantic life of a famous tennis player?

To the casual observer, apparently nothing. But when a houseparty gathers at Gull’s Point, the seaside home of an elderly widow, earlier events come to a dramatic head.

It’s all part of a carefully paid plan – for murder…

What a treat this classic Christie is! Superb narration as always by Hugh Fraser this is one of Christie’s most ingenious novels. Is there anyone who comes close to the Dame???

I was surprised by just how much I loved this story and blown away by the ending... Agatha is just too clever for me. As always, hugh fraser is :) :) :)

The best of Superintendent Battle

A good Christie ‘Who dunnit’ plot with interesting characters. DI Battle is likeable if not as quaint as Poirot. Hugh Fraser’s narration is flawless; perfect modulation for interest but doesn’t wake me up with large variations in speaking volume. Highly recommended.

Classic Christie with excellent narration
