Als ein ehemaliger KZ-Häftling, der bei den Arbeitern der Region ein hohes Ansehen genießt, ermordet in einem Eisenbahnwaggon aufgefunden wird, deutet einiges daraufhin, dass Pohlmann in diesen Mordfall verwickelt ist. Edith beschließt der Sache nachzugehen - ohne zu ahnen, worauf sie sich einlässt.
