Publisher's Summary

Follow Harlow Torrent, part-time journalist and full-time slip witch in this three-book cozy mystery box set!

Fabulous Witch (Torrent Witches Cozy Mysteries, Book 4)

Harlow Torrent, part-time journalist and full-time slip witch has a new job working on the set of Bella Bing's latest movie, filming in Harlot Bay.

It's meant to be a change of pace but when the lead actor, Mattias Matterhorn, dies on his first day on set, Harlow is pulled into a dangerous plot.

A saboteur is on set and they'll do anything to shut the film down...including murder.

With the ghost of Mattias demanding she find his murderer, her witchy cousins Molly and Luce tracking down a thief and her Aunt Cass getting into hot and spicy trouble, Harlow has her plate full. It doesn't help one bit when she slips and starts a magical storm....

Holiday Witch (Torrent Witches Cozy Mysteries, Book 5)

Harlow Torrent, part-time journalist and full-time slip witch wants nothing more than to take a holiday from witchy things...but when a series of thefts around Harlot Bay turn deadly, she's drawn into solving a murder mystery.

Between murderous teenagers, a secret buried in the past, Hattie Stern on the warpath, Christmas approaching and Aunt Cass suffering a very froggy problem, Harlow is doing everything she can to enjoy her holiday but those witchy problems just won't let her rest....

Shadow Witch (Torrent Witches Cozy Mysteries, Book 6)

Harlow Torrent, slip witch, is just trying to hold everything together. All she wants to do is keep the missing-presumed-snarky Aunt Cass' business running, help the moms with their new bakery and maybe spend a minute or two with her boyfriend, Jack. She's trying not to think about the possibility she has a spell cast upon her, one that may be more powerful than any of them can understand.

She can't help but to be pulled into a new mystery when someone comes to her with a personal plea for aid: elderly residents of Sunny Days Manor are going wandering, leaping fences, stealing cars and then forgetting everything before they die...or are murdered.

Is this the work of slippery all-around bad guy Sylvester Coldwell or something supernatural and far more deadly?

Loved the series.

I listened to all 6 books in this series. Loved them all and can't wait for more. The stories were great. I liked the characters and their development. I listened to book 5 in about one day. The books really held my attention. A couple of things I noticed. In chapter 25 of book 5 it seemed that the end of the chapter was truncated and ended abruptly in the middle of a sentance like it wasn't the end of the chapter and it just cut off the recording. In book 6 about 10 chapters from the end they were told to look for blue flowers with a white dot on each petal, however they found white flowers with a blue dot on each petal. Also I seemed to get lost in the last few chapters of book 6 where she was drawn into the past like it didn't fit there. Maybe it was me and I missed something. All in all I would recommend this books to anyone who likes fantasy.

Orator and editor failed the listener this time.

I found myself listening for the next error / misstep rather than the story. Disappointing.

Story is good with minor issues

The story is really good but the recording isn’t. There are random moments in the book where a sentence will repeat and you kinda wonder if you hit the rewind button by accident. There a just a couple of places where a sentence will end abruptly and the next chapter will start. I did send an email to audible and they thought it might be the download copy so I redownloaded it and the same starts and stops and skipped lines where there.
It’s a good book and the storyline is interesting but it does make me wonder who screwed up the editing. Oh well the narrator is good for the most part she just doesn’t maintain consistency on her voices for each character. The book is interesting and worth a listen if minor mistakes don’t bother you. Some folks are more sensitive to errors then others (me). I will get the rest of the series just so I can find out what is plaguing Harlot Bay.

Fun, Fluffy Cozy Mystery Series

What did you love best about Torrent Witches Cozy Mysteries, Box Set 2?

The Torrent Witches Cozy Mystery Series is a set of fun cozy mysteries. No major plot lines or reveals, but an easy, enjoyable listen. Similar in characters and plot to another series, but that doesn't take away from this at all.

What does Natalie Duke bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Enjoyable narrator
