Stel je eens voor... Je wordt wakker op je geluksdag omdat je bij je lievelingstante gaat logeren... En een uur later zit je in een bejaardentehuis op een kamer bij een meneer die denkt dat hij een garnaal is... En nog een paar uur later rijd je als mummie verkleed in een rolstoel over de gangen, op zoek naar een schat...
Nee, dat kan gewoon niet waar zijn. Een bejaardentehuis is de rustigste plek op de wereld. Daar gebeurt nooit iets vreemds. Of iets engs. Toch?
De teen bewoog opnieuw. De hele voet bewoog. Plotseling stoof het bovenlichaam van het lijk omhoog en kwam er een enorme brul onder het laken vandaan. Tom viel bijna flauw van schrik. Het was het gruwelijkste wat hij ooit had gehoord.
