Im Märchenwald geht es drunter und drüber. Die Kinder Anna und Paul haben ein kleines Männchen entdeckt, das wütend alles kurz und klein schlägt: die Bäume, die Sträucher, die goldgelben Blümchen. Die Hexe Lindenbart ist entsetzt. Randale in ihrem Wald? Sie alarmiert die Waldmeisterinnen Tatü und Tata. Doch die zwei Schnarchnasen reiten lieber auf ihren Waldseepferdchen spazieren und entdecken nichts außer ein paar verrückt witzelnden Pilzen. Da muss Lindenbart mit den Kindern selbst zur Tat schreiten, um das Männchen zu stoppen und den Märchenwald vor der Zerstörung zu retten. Und sie entdecken: Eigentlich ist das wütende Männchen im Grunde ein ganz sensibles Kerlchen.
