Publisher's Summary
Time management is perhaps something every person should learn about in greatest detail. This is because time is the only commodity in your life that you cannot regain once it is lost. Time is what makes your life, and if and when you realize that, with every minute that passes, you are closer to your death, you will never ever want to see a moment lost.
Many people complain that they don’t have enough time in the day to do everything they need to get done. Remember, though, that you have the same amount of time given to people like Albert Einstein, Nicholas Tesla, and JK Rowling. It’s how you manage it that counts!
All projects, especially those which are more complex in nature, require prioritization, but this is much easier said than done. The thing about large projects is that the workload can tend to overwhelm, leading to greater procrastination instead of focus. When you start feeling that you have too much on your plate, you will lose interest and find it challenging to keep your work momentum.
If you want to finally become more productive and squeeze the most out of your time on a daily basis, so you can spend more time doing the things you love the most, then make sure to get your copy today!

Ok, but no new useful information
This book is OK maybe for a person who is horrible at managing time or maybe a young person starting out. But I don’t need to buy a book to recommend that I take a shorter route every day to get to work. And I don’t need a book to tell me to go to bed early and so I can get up early and make the most of my day. Nothing new here.

This is an extraordinary book!!!
This is a very well researched well written book. I highly recommend it. It was recommended to several of our friends that are high-school teachers. Each of them purchased two copies. Personally, I find it astonishing that so few folks actually have any understanding of this part of our nations history. Each of the four leaders went through personal crises that she is able to describe in compelling detail, and then indicate how they in turn shaped their future life and subsequent actions in the face of future challenges.

I found Time Management In An Instant to be filled with tips and suggestions I can use. While not every tip is applicable for me today, many of them are. Because they are short and quick to read, I can easily locate tips that apply to issues I am dealing with, read through them, and put them into action quickly.

Five Stars!!!
An intelligent and well-thought out look at how we live our lives, how easy it is to get caught up in the rat race, running in circles, forgetting where we were trying to get to and why. David speaks from experience and poses thoughtful and provoking questions to help us start to identify for ourselves what we actually want. Great tips and tools on how to re-focus, re-energise and unlock ourselves from own prison.

Found extremely useful!
I love this book. I have been in management before when I was younger 12-15 years ago and it is nice to see the something in writing that fits the way a business manager, supervisor etc.... should run his/her ship! Fast, I mean fast on their shipment. If you're serious about time and task management, this is a good book to start with. You may not need to read another one, though there several others that are also helpful!!!

Best book for time management.
Tom's book is spectacular -- and brief, too! He walks you through several critical strategies for sysadmin time management, including using a ticketing system to track requests. One of the few books that have kept its value over the years in more than just face value. If you are a sysadmin or netadmin this book is a MUST. Great book. Short and too the point. Won't go into details about the review because the other reviews have already taken care of that. best book for time management.

Really helpful book
Very practical advice, but the examples helped me to see what it looks like to carry it out and the results I'd like to achieve. More than step by step - this book has worksheets you can use if you need things written down, checklists you might not consider as important, etc. They all help to create a new idea of how to organize your day....leading to a calmer and more organized life. The constant meetings and quality issues made it impossible to feel in track, this book has been eye opening and I'm starting to see the results, highly recommended.

This book is a treasure!
This book is a must have for anyone who works in IT or as a developer. It has saved me time and time again when it comes to making sure all my work is getting done. I usually think of self help books as touchy-feely nonsense read by weak-minded individuals who can't think for themselves. This is still my opinion and that probably won't change. The great thing about this book is that it doesn't read like a self help book or some master plan to happiness. There's no chapter on meditation or talking about your feelings

Its a Life Changer
Lots of great recommendations. I especially liked the idea of rotating support dutues with other sysadmins to separate time between dedicated user support & maintenance and project work. This is an amazing book. The writing style is laid back and the topics are easily digestible. There's plenty in this book to take action on immediately, and there are already some big things I've implemented, like moving my office. One of the few books that have kept its value over the years in more than just face value.

I Demand An Update!
One of the few books that have kept its value over the years in more than just face value. If you are anxious about your workload and how to manage it, listen this book. The book is plenty with common sense and wisdom. Definitely useful. I'm going to buy the print version for our office. Great book that helped me manage my time and projects as a sys admin. Time Management is the most important skill you'll need as a SysAdmin.
If you don't agree with me here is because you're not a SysAdmin working in a professional enviroment. Or haven't been yet.
This book teaches you how to deal with that, therefore, this book is the most important one you'll ever read in your SysAdmin career

great book.
I attended an eponymous presentation given by the author. Tom is a good presenter and a good writer and the sort of smart-but-easy-going guy you would want to work with. The whole idea of "time management" is especially important for systems administrators, who tend to juggle a lot of things at once while also handling user interruptions, and reporting to diffuse layers of management.
I myself am still experimenting with various daily regimens and have yet to find a system that works really well for me
