Publisher's Summary
In the year 2153, time travel first became possible. Travellers could go back in time, but only return to the present date, so were unable to predict or experience the future. There was great enthusiasm amongst politicians and scientists, as it was thought that past mistakes and atrocities could be rectified by returning to their origin and changing things for the better.
But there was a problem. Each time they attempted to alter the course of events, they changed the future in ways they could not have predicted. If a traveller interacted with someone from the past, even in the slightest way, history would adjust, sometimes with dramatic consequences in the present.
