So enjoyable having these in audible and even better to have them in a box set so the stories keep flowing.
I think book 2 is my favourite as I just find Del’s interaction with Stacy’s boys so sweet and wonderful.
But all three stories are very enjoyable.
1 - THE ALPHA OPTION
BOOK REVIEW
Brilliant story, I loved it.
A great start to a new series and though this book introduces a few characters at once, I didn’t feel overwhelmed with information and am in fact looking forward to reading more about them, especially with how this one ended.
You can see future pairings with bumpy roads ahead too.
It flowed well and the story takes you along and though you can see where it is going, the journey is still a fun ride.
Cassidy is a super heroine. Smart, logical and strong without being annoying.
Everyone else was also likeable, even the baddie Emma was an acceptable baddie, because Cassidy shut her down right away.
Though I’m sure she will have her comeuppance coming, especially if she has done what I think she’s done.
I totally hope Marvin gets a mate too, as I really want to read his story.
More please Ms Arend.
2 - THE ENFORCER’S GAMBLE
BOOK REVIEW
A good second instalment but I do suggest reading book one first.
A sweet and entertaining story with just a hint of trouble.
I loved how Stacy dealt with the young wolves with a strong, firm, but loving way. Some are acting out through outside forces, others are acting stupid due to being influenced by a trouble maker.
I loved the jokes that flew around.
Del’s interaction with Stacy’s three boys was lovely. Though the whole pack hierarchy are proving to be a good fit and balance.
Emma, the baddie from book one is a problem once again and other things are happening that feels like it will flow over to the next book. Then we end with a bang, literally, so book three is going to be a doozie.
3 - THE OMEGA’S PRIZE
BOOK REVIEW
You really need to have read the first two books to understand and appreciate this story.
Like the second book this one felt too busy at times, though entertaining. But being Omegas definitely seemed to give them a lot of slack in situations when it shouldn’t have worked.
I loved the whole Stephanie being Demisexual, which I admit I had to look up.
Her need to be friends with someone, for trust and knowing the person as a whole, before feeling that spark of attraction, worked well in this book.
Especially as Blue, being an omega wolf with a whole lot of patience, is able to court her, with help and guidance from his wolf side. Which I enjoyed.
But Blue also has some hidden strength under his laidback attitude, and it is needed before everything is settled.
Narration was very enjoyable.
