Publisher's Summary

Just friends.

That’s all Beckett Weaver and I have ever been.

Sure, he’s a hot cowboy who left Wall Street behind to take over his family’s ranch. Yes, I’ve had a secret crush on him since we were 17. And who wouldn’t appreciate those strong hands, that massive chest, and the way he fills out a pair of Levis?

He makes a girl sweat just looking at him...and I look. A lot.

But I’m a single mom trying to move on with my life, and he’s running that ranch single-handedly while taking care of his elderly father. We don’t even live in the same state. I only returned to my hometown of Bellamy Creek to sell my late mother’s house, and he just invited me and my son to stay with him because he’s got a big heart.

That’s not the only big thing he’s got - which I discover the night I finally sneak across the hall to his bedroom and shed my inhibitions right alongside my pajamas. And once we give into each other, we can’t stop.

The hayloft. The bed of his truck. The dock by the pond.

Nothing has ever felt so right, but his past has taught him not to believe in happily-ever-after, and every perfect night I spend in his arms brings us closer to good-bye.

Like any cowboy, he’s good with a rope and knows exactly how to tie me up.

But what if I want him to tie me down?

A perfect ending to our travels through Bellamy Creek. My heart is full!

The Bellamy Creek Series is my favorite of Melanie Harlow’s. There is something extra special about these characters. I knew Beckett’s story was going to be a good one. Melanie writes the heck out of friends to lovers, and the way she writes the good guy, it’s next level good. The Audio on this one is really great, with both voices perfect for the characters. Really great emotions and range to their voices.

I thought it was really interesting how Melanie told Beckett’s story. So much of Beckett’s story was inner monologue. He had such deep feelings and thoughts but hardly expressed anything except passion. In some ways, Beckett was the most mature and in touch man of the group, but he was just so cerebral vs expressive. It made sense that only an old friend could understand him and get to him the way Maddie did.

Nothing gets me like the Hero who doesn’t know how much his past has impacted the man he is today. Beckett was so logical, and so smart, it was easy to follow his logic when it came to his responsibilities and relationship decisions. There were obviously many wrong choices, but it made sense and you could hardly fault him. Maddie was an interesting Heroine because despite past hurt she wasn’t so guarded that it got in her way. She was willing to love again, but she needed to make sure her love was matched this time. She was such a mature leading lady and I really connected with her character.

With each of the Bellamy Creek books I have gushed about the friendship between the men. I keep saying how I love it almost as much as the romantic relationships. One thing that became clear in the book was that Melanie created a friendship group not just with the men, but with the women too. Eight people who cared deeply for each other as if they were family. I think being able to write friendships you can feel speaks to her talent as an author.

That ending was something different from anything Melanie has written before. With the last chapter and the Epilouge, I couldn’t stop crying happy tears. It was the perfect, wrapped up ending to Bellamy Creek. And then I read the bonus scene. (Make sure to read that!!). And BAM! My heart feels so full after THAT ending. Thank you so very much for the journey through Bellamy Creek. I can’t even feel sad that it’s over because it was perfection, it is complete. This series was everything. ❤️

Oozes sex appeal

Tie Me Down is just as sexy as it sounds! Beckett is the last of the Bellamy Creek men. He's had a huge crush on Maddie since high school. Maddie returns to Bellamy Creek for a visit to fix up her mom's house and reconnects with Beckett. These two can't stop the heat slowing coming in for them with a fireman's hose. Maddie has the most amazing son Elliott and Beckett's father Eugene was the best. They both offered these sweet and humorous moments that the story needed.

Connor Crais and Amanda Ronconi brought this story to life. I loved their narration.  Crais was strong and sexy and the perfect Beckett. I felt his softer side when he entertained Elliott.  His voice just softened toward the kid. When he was with Maddie, his voice would go deep and gravelly.  I loved it. Ronconi really brought Maddie alive for me. She was fun and really charismatic.

Tie Me Down

"Even Superman had a Lois Lane. Don't forget that."

Beckett and Maddie have had secret crushes on each other since they were in high school but have never been able to tell each other how they feel. Now, years later, they are both back in Bellamy Creek and living under the same roof. The feelings that never disappeared give them both the courage to finally act on them but as Maddie's time to return to Ohio is nearing closer, she is hoping that Beckett with giving her a reason to stay in Bellamy Creek.

I loved this book right from the very beginning with them all as teenagers burying a time capsule that they were planning on digging up 20 years later. Beckett and Maddie were so cute how they would always get tongue-tied when it came to actually tell each other how they felt. When they did finally come together it was hot. Elliot was adorable and I loved that he had the courage to do and wear whatever he wanted. I also loved Mr. Weaver and how even with his Dementia he still knew his son would find and marry the girl across the street. The ending of the story was bittersweet with them opening the time capsule and us saying goodbye to this group. I recommend the whole Bellamy Creek series to anyone who loves small-town romances that are full of family, friends, and a whole ton of heart.

Audio … I enjoyed listening to Connor Crais and Amanda Ronconi bringing the final Bellamy Creek story to life.

Loved everything about this book

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this listen, this is one of my favourite ebooks of 2021 so how would the narrators do with my favourite characters well I shouldn’t have worried because Amanda Ronconi and Connor Crais did a wonderful job bringing this book to life

I love my visits to Bellamy Creek and I have to say Tie Me Down has jumped to the top of my list of favourite reads by the very talented Melanie Harlow. This is Beckett Weaver and Maddie Blake’s entertaining journey, it’s a well written captivating read that I couldn’t put down.
Beckett and Maddie have been friends most of their life but they have both been hiding their true feelings for each other. Single mum Maddie is back with her son Elliott but will these friends risk all by crossing the line, will either one of them be prepared to take a giant leap of faith.
I fell hard and fast for the handsome cowboy who keeps himself to himself, I adored the wonderful Maddie but for me Elliott really stole the show with his adoring outlook on life. It was always going to take a special lady to win this cowboy’s heart and Maddie and her son are perfect for the job. You know very early on in a book that you are reading something very special and Tie Me Down is one of those reads, Beckett, Maddie and Elliott’s story will stay with me long after the final words were read and this book will certainly be on my best reads of 2021. A romance with all the feels and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful Story of Friendship; Family and Second Chances

A small town, second chance romance with light angst, plenty of steam and a cast of characters that will steal your heart. Melanie Harlow has done it again, delivering a story that is well rounded with heart and heat.
What happens when you let an opportunity slip through your fingers, one that you know could change your life forever? As a teen Beckett had longed for Maddie but he’s a complex character who has built walls around his heart for fear of being left. With a mother not in the picture, Beckett is tormented between wanting the m of his dreams and knowing she’ll never stick around, they never do.
Little does Beckett know, his feelings were not unrequited. Maddie always had a thing for Beckett but with a man who is determined to keep people out and never showed any indication that he thought of her as anything more, they fell into a comfortable friendship that stuck with them throughout the years. Now post divorce, Maddie is heading back to Bellamy Creek and face to face with a past that never got it’s chance.
Is Beckett ready to knock those walls down on his own or will Maddie have to strap on her gear and prepare to climb!?!?
This is a quick and easy read with all the right elements to capture your heart.
I listened to this on audiobook and can’t recommend it enough.
Connor Crais has quickly become one of my favorite male narrators. He has a voice that will make you blush and leave you breathless and no one else could’ve done Beckett justice.
Amanda Ronconi was also fabulous. I’ve only listened to her once before so it was refreshing to hear a different heroine’s voice from my typical narrators. Together, these two gave a great performance and I would definitely recommend.
And for fans of Sarina Bowen, be prepared for a surprise visit from your favorite True North grump, Griffin! Loved the friendship between worlds! Made my heart so full!,

If I were reviewing Connor Crais it would be 5 stars!

The female narrator ruined the audiobook for me. Her shrill chirpy voice made me abandon the audiobook. Which really sucked because honestly I would listen to anything Connor Crais narrated. I was upset to abandon it.

Wonderful series finale

Beckett and Maddie have been friends forever - since high school they've had crushes on each other. When Maddie comes back home to sell her mother's house, Beckett offers to let her and her son stay with him and his father who has dementia. She agrees and in a short time they start acting on their long time attraction. Beckett's father sometimes has good memories and remembers that he always told Beckett that he should marry the girl across the street, Maddie. But can Beckett get over his fear of abandonment in time so he doesn't lose Maddie for good? I loved this series and this story doesn't disappoint. I had some tears toward the end. I found the written epilogue to the series and it was fantastic! Connor Crais and Amanda Ronconi were wonderful narrators. I'm going to miss this wonderful group of friends.

Brilliant ending

Beautiful ending to a wonderful series 💞💞
Connor Crais was the best as always but Amanda Ronconi takes some getting use to, why are authors not using Savannah Peachwood, Andi Arndt, CJ Bloom or Desiree Ketchum I miss them feel like I have heard much of them lately.(I'm digressing) but honestly if haven't read this series then peeps you need to go press the buy button. My favourite is Make Me Yours, but they are all just as good. Happy listening 💞💞
