Publisher's Summary
Three sisters, one birthday, one little problem...
The three Kettle sisters have had a mortifying mishap. Their raucous, champagne-soaked birthday dinner has come to an abrupt end following a violent argument and an emergency dash to the hospital.
So who started it this time? Was it angry, hurt Cat, still recovering from the 'night of the spaghetti'? Was it Lyn, so serenely successful, at least on the outside? Or was it quirky, dreamy Gemma, the sister who can't keep a secret except for the most important one of all?

Delicious
Thoroughly enjoyed this book - as I do most of Liane Moriarty's work. Her characters are very believable. I also enjoy that this book is set in Sydney suburbs that I am familiar with. Maybe not high literature but simply a delight. Caroline Lee's narration is the perfect fit. Hope to enjoy more from this team.

Love Liane Moriarty's books!
Any additional comments?
Have listened or read all Liane Moriarty's books and find them very addictive stories. The characters are all so real and the life is so contemporary and Australian that you can easily identify with the situations and the personalities involved. I often find myself laughing out loud at some parts and feeling pangs of sadness at others. Liane's novels are highly entertaining. Just can't wait for the next!

No point to the story
I found this story a bit boring, it was hard to keep up with which character was telling the story. There seemed to be no real story line

Nice story, relatable, serious and humourous.
Would you listen to Three Wishes again? Why?
No, im not one to read books twice.
What other book might you compare Three Wishes to, and why?
The husbands secret- obviously the same author. Similar sarcastic humour which I enjoy and the over the top characters.
Which scene did you most enjoy?
When the 'other women' walks in on Christmas lunch.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes. It was quite addictive, the characters were so well written I felt like I knew them personally.
Any additional comments?
Lovely read. I enjoy Liane Moriartry's writing a lot.

Beautifully written
My new favourite Australian author, funny, poignant and witty, sets a beautiful scene of an Australian families up and downs and how their relationships help and hinder them. Love how the author drops little observations of the family from strangers into the story. The little memories of their childhoods or early adulthoods makes this a rich and vibrant story, giving each of the characters depth and interest. The narrator is amazing and gives each of the characters a unique and satisfying personality in the telling. Laughed and cried, loved it all.

Family life
Extremely enlightening are the twists and turns of family challenges with multiple births. I love the humour encluded.
I love how Gemma the ditsy triplet turns out to be quite clever at other aspects while very clumsy at life skills. I love her Don't sweat the Small Stuff way of life.
Nanna Kettle reminds me of my own mother.
Such a great story to listen too.

Oh gosh, the narrators voice! ahhh!!
Only for the fact that I paid $14.95 for this book did I continue to listen. The beginning was totally lost on me because of the narrators awful, screechy voice. It was just like someone running their nails down a chalk board. Screeeeeechy and loud. The story was good though. I am now avoiding any book narrated by Caroline Lee.
