Beautifully told frank observations of the life of a great man, with all his contradictions. Meacham’s style and pacing carries the story effortlessly- a true pleasure to listen to.

Fantastic biography of a great man and interesting historical figure. However, I think the subtitle "the Art of Power" is not appropriate for this particular biograohy and seems an odd choice considering how much of the book was dedicated to exploring Jefferson the man and not just his political endeavours.
