Two Books in One Audiobook

This audio title contains two books in one package. One book is about Windows 10, the other pertains to hacking. My review shall focus on the first book, as I have no interest in hacking at all.

I recommend that only advanced Windows 10 users hear this book about the operating system. Some chapters sound like they are for beginners, such as how to log into Windows 10 and upgrade from Windows 7 to 10. However, other chapters are clearly not for novices. Examples: how to edit the registry and a description of Windows 10 security.

It is also worth noting that the audiobook contains errors. Two examples: The author describes how to open Windows 10 settings by using the keystroke WindowsKey-I. The narrator reads the dash, which could make novices believe the dash is part of the keyboard shortcut. In reality, the dash separates the two keys necessary. To access Windows 10 settings, hold down the Windows key used to access the start menu and press I. Second example: At one point, the narrator starts to read a sentence then reads the wrong word. He then starts the sentence again to read the correct word. I am surprised the imperfections were not eliminated using audio editing software after the recording was done.

Bottom line: I only recommend the Windows 10 book in this two-in-one title, and only for advanced Windows 10 users who can tolerate an inept narrator.
