Touching story, loved it as a palate-cleanser between the psychological thrillers I usually listen to.
Major ick given in the dying moments of the story when the narrator reads “Captain Corre-lie’s mandolin”…how does a book narrator of all people get it so wrong? Minor issue but falls into the primacy/recency effect when reviewing unfortunately. Heartwarming story otherwise.
