it's an intro, maybe it gets better?

I enjoyed the author's London steampunk series so thought I'd try this even though not really into faeries. Found it kinda boring, but okay for a short dip into a different world. It's more of an intro to the setting rather than a complete story. Warning the narrator can't pronounce Calliope, it comes up more than you'd think. Had to speed it up to make it normal human pace, which is fine on the app. Won't be bothering with more in this series, but maybe if you like fae stuff it'll rock your boat. No sauce.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
